‘The Gratitude of Being’ is a reflection on self.
We must allow ourselves time to sit, breathe, listen to ourselves and heal. The imagery incorporated into the artwork reflects the powerful existence of the Byron Bay landscape as well as honouring the importance of Arakwal country.
The entrance screen features an abstracted landscape of the rolling hills in the Byron Hinterland. The main screen pays homage to the coastline by overlaying three aerial view aspects of Byron’s coast.
