Celebrating the magnificent Clarence River and surrounding landscape through the eyes of renowned national and local artists, River to the Sea was presented as the opening exhibition of the rejuvenated Grafton Regional Gallery. This beguiling exhibition celebrated the magnificent Clarence River and surrounding landscape through the eyes of renowned artists – Sophie Cape, Amanda Penrose Hart, Steve Lopes, Euan Macleod, Robert Moore, Frances Belle Parker, Deborah Taylor and Ann Thomson.

The project explored a connection to place and the natural environment, as well as providing a new perspective of the Clarence, with each artist having captured their unique experiences of the valley through their body of work.

This exhibition is the result of a poetic journey across the Clarence Valley from the river to the sea.
